It’s small, it’s hungry, and worst of all… IT’S ALIVE! In 1974, filmmaker Larry Cohen placed a spotlight onto to the then-impossible world of wonder drugs designed to help unlucky couples have children, but added layers of gore and black humor as only the director of Q – THE WINGED SERPENT and writer of PHONE BOOTH could. The result was IT’S ALIVE, a new horror classic, one that earned Cohen some of the best reviews and biggest box-office of his career and created a new kind of monster that audiences had never seen before. Two sequels followed, and now, a brand new IT’S ALIVE film is currently in development with Cohen once again returning as writer and director. Now that a renewed interest in this franchise is starting conception, Monsters HD is pleased to present three beautiful new high definition transfers of Cohen’s twisted spin on parenthood and the American family on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2006, beginning at 8:30pm.

IT’S ALIVE III: ISLAND OF THE ALIVE (1987) (Larco Productions Inc.) Director: Larry Cohen “They do something worse than kill.
