Rob Zombie's First Interview on 'Halloween'

"This is a bit of a prequel and a remake, combined," says Zombie.
QUESTION: Are you you planning on using any previous characters from the first 8 films (like Laurie Strode and Dr. Loomis) or are you planning something entirely new with no old characters?
Rob Zombie: Both, but I won't tell you which just yet.

Even though a great number of these modern horror remakes have been bad I'm really excited about this one. I read a bootleg copy of Zombie's re-imagining of The Crow and it was one of the most original scripts I've read.
