Three New 'Re-Animator' Sequel Titles, Plots Revealed

Bloody-Disgusting brings us the news on the three new 'Re-Animator' sequels.

House of Re-Animator: The sequel, which reunites the original team (director Stuart Gordon, producer Brian Yuzna, writer Dennis Paoli and lead actor Jeffrey Combs), focuses on a Bush-like president who dies in office. His staff covertly brings in Dr. Herbert West to reanimate the Commander in Chief, and the expected chaos ensues.

Re-Animator Unbound!: West would have his own feifdom amidst a war zone. There his experiments take him directly in conflict with religion and face to face with the Old Ones of Lovecraftian lore.

Re-Animator Begins: After having his mind pretty much erased by the trauma of Unbound! West is brought back to his senses (during which we get to see some of West’s boyhood) by a mysterious doctor who turns out to be his mentor Dr. Gruber’s niece. Back at the medical school in Switzerland (where it all began in the original Re-Animator) West recreates his early experiments, but makes the fatal mistake of breaking one of his basic tenants when he finds himself having feelings for... a woman.

World trailer premiere of Grindhouse

Watch the Yahoo Movies Grindhouse page for the world trailer premiere for 'GRINDHOUSE,' the horror double-feature from directors Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.

Grind House (noun): A downtown movie theater - in disrepair since its glory days as a movie palace of the '30s and '40s - known for "grinding out" non-stop double-bill programs of B-movies.A double-bill of thrillers that will be presented as one full-length feature. First in the double bill, 'Death Proof' (directed by Quentin Tarantino), is a slasher flick where the killer pursues his victims with a car rather than a knife, while 'Planet Terror' (directed by Robert Rodriguez) explores an alien world eerily familiar to our own. Welcome to the grind house - it'll tear you in two.

Behind the Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon Trailer

Anchor Bay launched the new website for Behind the Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon which hits theaters on February 14, 2007. Check out the new site and a brand new trailer for this movie.

Set in a world where Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees exist, BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON introduces promising young psycho-slasher Leslie Vernon (Nathan Baesel), who aspires to follow in the footsteps of his legendary predecessors. A true self-promoter, Leslie gives documentary filmmaker Taylor Gentry (Angela Goethals) and her crew exclusive access to his life as he plans and executes his epic reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them.

Directed and produced by Scott Glosserman from a script that David J. Stieve and he co-wrote, BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON features break-out performances by up & comers Nathan Baesel (Invasion), who plays the lead character, and Angela Goethals (Spanglish, 24), and also stars international cult icon Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street, 2001 Maniacs), Scott Wilson (Junebug, The Last Samurai) and Zelda Rubinstein (Poltergeist I, II, & III, Sixteen Candles).

Scary Movies Come Home for the Holidays on VOOM's Monsters HD

VOOM’S MONSTERS HD SLASHES INTO THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH “THE HALLOWEEN BEFORE CHRISTMAS” MOVIE MARATHON

Tune into Monsters HD on December 24 at 6pm ET for
All Five HALLOWEEN Films Completely Re-mastered in High Definition

NEW YORK – Instead of battling the crowds for a last minute gift at the mall, stay home, start a fire and get into the holiday spirit with VOOM’s MONSTERS HD “The Halloween Before Christmas” movie marathon. Beginning Sunday, December 24 at 6pm ET, MONSTERS HD will play all five legendary HALLOWEEN films back to back and digitally re-mastered in high-definition.

The HALLOWEEN film franchise has been one of the most influential in horror movie history and made the Michael Myers character so well-known, that he has been routinely spoofed in comedies. Created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill back in 1978, the series spawned what would come to be known as the “Slasher” sub-genre of horror movies that dominated the 1980s. The HALLOWEEN tradition continues even today, as HALLOWEEN (2007) also known as Untitled Rob Zombie Halloween Project, directed by Rob Zombie, is in pre-production.

Films to Include:

Halloween (1978) directed by John Carpenter- Michael Myers has been in an institution since he was a young boy, after murdering his sister. Now he's escaped and is heading back home to terrorize the quiet community which still remembers him. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.

Halloween II (1981) directed by Rick Rosenthal- It's the same night as the original Halloween. Michael Myers is around the neighborhood, after being gunned by Dr.Loomis six times. Now, he's in a hospital where the girl Laurie Strode was taken. And there's a reason why Michael is after her... Starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) directed by Tommy Lee Wallace – his sequel has a plot that is unrelated to the earlier movies of the same name. In this horror story, a large Halloween mask making company has plans to kill millions of American children with deadly masks.

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) directed by Dwight H. Little– Following on from Halloween II, Michael Myers escapes from Richmond Mental Institute whilst being transferred, this time going after his niece, Jamie Lloyd. Doctor Loomis follows him back to Haddonfield, and attempts to stop him once and for all.

Halloween 5 (1989) directed by Dominique Othenin-Girard - It's one year since Halloween 4, and Michael survives being shot by the police. He continues his search for his niece, who is in a children’s' hospital.
