Bruce Dickinson-penned Chemical Wedding starts shooting
Screen Daily reported that Chemical Wedding, a supernatural horror film scripted by Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson, is finally rolling under the direction of Julian Doyle, editor of Terry Gilliam’s Brazil and Time Bandits. Produced by London-based Focus Films, the movie stars Simon Callow as a Cambridge professor who becomes a reincarnation of notorious occultist Aleister Crowley (a role that, at various points, Malcolm McDowell and Roger Daltrey were said to be attached to); John (Mirrors) Shrapnel, Kal Weber, Terence Bayler and Geoff Breton also star. Dickinson, who released the pictured solo album of the same title in 1998, will also provide the film’s soundtrack.- The Monster
