Two years after unleashing The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms upon New York City, Ray Harryhausen turned loose this giant six-armed octopus on San Francisco.

More Facts:
Never getting permission to actually film in San Franciso, the crew filmed all the out door scenes from the back of a bakery truck that drove all over the city and over the Golden Gate Bridge to get the required background plates for the special effects.
